Muscle Girl

Muscle Girl is a new Jdrama that will come out this May. The two main leads were announces: Yui Ichikawa and Lee Hong Ki.

He's so adorable; Don't you just want to lock him up in a cage, in your basement and never let him free? No? Oh.....

Bikini model? In a show about female wrestling? Good choice!

The story is basically about a girl who inherits a female wrestling organization. The organization is not doing so well so she does the first thing that anyone would do; she asks a complete stranger for help. She was in dire need of a referee. She asks a random pretty boy on the street to referee the matches. Little does she know that he is a celebrity. There are many things wrong with this. First off, how can she not know he is a celebrity? Doesn't he have a bodyguard or stalker fans? Second, shouldn't someone who started out acting before becoming an idol do roles other than playing someone who is exactly like himself? But anyway, I digress. Like any guy who was asked to referee a female wrestling match by a bikini model, he agrees. Through love and much hardship the two make the business turn around and make money.

I am actually pretty excited for this. The plot will probably not fit my taste but it's Lee Hong Ki. I really just want a Jeremy spin-off series where he meets a burly black man and learns the meaning of true love. Maybe I will discover a love for female wrestling. All we can do is wait and hope.
